The views from our suite were amazing, directly overlooking the serene Lake Bled. The classic decor and spaciousness created a charming atmosphere that reminded me of my travels in my youth.
Bathroom fixtures need an update for comfort.

We were warmly welcomed. The staff at the reception was very obliging and competent.
The service in the salon was friendly, but very little present.

Very well managed hotel in best location directly at the lake. The staff is very attentive. Excellent breakfast buffet (also with vegan alternatives).
Nothing, we would have liked to stay longer. Due to our stay of only one night we could not use everything.

We enjoyed the fine lake view from our balcony and loved the swimming facilities. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help, and we appreciated the daily treat of cakes and coffee available in the lounge.
My children wished there were more activities focused on them .

The lakeside room with a balcony offered amazing panoramic views of Lake Bled. The staff were helpful and attentive, addressing all my requests promptly. The breakfast was superb, with a generous selection of fresh items that were perfect for a business traveler. The well-equipped business center.
The shower's design was problematic, leaking water onto the floor.

The private lake terrace of the hotel is unbeatable.
We would have a "balcony room" - unfortunately this turned out to be a 30cm deep outlet.

Very comfortable beds - great room with view of the castle.
The dining room should be cleaned more regularly. The dress code should be the same for all guests.

The lakeside room offered amazing views of Lake Bled. I loved the spacious balcony, perfect for morning coffee with a fine backdrop. Breakfast stood out with a wide selection of fresh fruits and eggs made to order. The staff greeted me warmly and were attentive throughout my stay. The bed felt uncomfortable. It comprised two singles pushed together, which creaked at the slightest movement. The room's decor leaned toward dated, but that added an old-world charm. The temperature control in the room felt inconsistent. I had an issue with the shower leaking onto the bathroom floor. I'd love to see some updates in bedding and the bathroom area. The location makes up for a lot, but a little more attention to comfort would elevate the experience.

The magnificent view of the lake. The ambience. Unfortunately not the unkept furniture. Scratches etc.
Furniture and unrenovated rooms not in line with the price segment

A Charming Lake View with Room for Improvement
The lake view from the suite captivated us, especially during sunset. Although the decor felt dated and the amenities could use sprucing up, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the onsite restaurant with superb local dishes. For a better stay, consider requesting room with modern updates.

We booked the Grand Hotel Toplice because it was 5 star. We were bumped down to the partner Hotel Golf which is 4 star (that is questionable) and told it was because of maintenance issues!! Unsure whether this was true or whether they overbook and then use their other hotels. We were given a suite for the price of a basic room. The suite had a fantastic view of Lake Bled, but needed some maintenance, and painting (graffiti on inside wall cleaned off but stained - needed paint over). We could not lock our balcony door, and were told the maintenance person would fix it in the morning - this did not happen during our 3 night stay! Breakfast really good. Friendly staff. Good pool/wellness area.
Not the hotel we booked or wanted! Sava Golf needed some maintenance! The outside lighting along the stairway from the promenade to the hotel was not working after dark - very dark and dangerous! Noise separation from other rooms was terrible! Bathroom use in room above sounded like a waterfall in our room!

I would recommend this place, didn't want to leave. Thank you for the very pleasant stay during my visit. The suite is silent and spotless. The a la carte restaurant is good.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes!
